Everybody still jokes about you, even now that you're dead. I don't think they realise they're fucked up too. I think we all like to feel better about our own, more socially acceptable, forms of addiction.

So I will, I will I will start blogging again. And what better way to announce my return (to the 2 people who read this, including my mum) than a picture of my cat. Since cats are pretty much my main interest in life. Not really. But also not not really.

Yay presents!

So a while ago the lovely Angie organised the Present Project...where everyone who signs up gets someone to send a present to. I was lucky enough to get Angie herself, who writes my favouritest blog ever!

Mouth orgasm

So Engage turned 4 about 2 weeks into my internship, and so we all went to Myoga to celebrate.
(Spoiler: Myoga gives you mouth orgasms)


We did the 6-course tasting menu with copious amounts of wine. Each course has about 5 options each, so so great. My choices were easy because of veggieness, but how others would choose I have no idea.


My 6 courses were:
Mouth tickler: Goats cheese and jalapeno samoosa with mango salsa and coriander
Salad: Haloumi and asparagus salad with poached egg and aged balsamic red pepper
Pasta: Potato gnocchi with smoked pumpkin, sage butter, roasted seeds and truffle cream
Cleanser: Lemon lime sorbet
Main: Wild mushroom risotto with asparagus and pecorino shavings
Sweet: Sticky banoffi pudding with glazed rum banana and vanilla bean ice cream


Possibly the best meal I have ever had.

Being grown-up (pfft)

So I am now a 'Creative Brandcrafter' (ie designer) at Engage Brandcraft in Greenpoint. We're opposite Beluga, which is rather dangerous when peanut butter sandwiches start losing their appeal...

I work with 4 great guys; Chris, Ian, Dijon and Vaughn. Chris talks branding even when drunk, Dijon puts porn music on for all of us to enjoy, Ian says "Just saying" a lot and Vaughn gets fillings without anaesthetic. I ask questions all the time and have the only messy desk in the office.

Feels good to be earning and working with awesome people all day :)
