Today Em and I went on a girl-date to the Planetarium and the SA Museum. What nerds. Good fun tho.

We wandered in on the Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2011 exhibition, which was insanely amazing. Everyone should see it! Go. Now.

Came across this photo by Klaus Echle...so so stunning.

Klaus Echle from Germany was highly commended in the Animals in their Environment category for this image. While exploring the Black Forest near his home in Freiburg, he came across this vixen. Klaus made a point of going to this part of the wood on wet or misty days. "The light is so special then," he explained.

Oh the places

2011 was a weird year. I started it off with no idea what I was doing, and I ended it with no idea what I was doing.

Maybe no one really knows what their doing and it's all one big act.

2011 was also a year that started off the process of elimination. I now know what I don't want to do with my life, and am hopefully getting closer to what I do.

I discovered new things that I love, and new places.

I explored Wales, birthplace of many of my family members

I was re-inspired by London Design Week

I made clay pigeons

I fell in love with Paris 

I turned 22 

I cooked (a lot.) 

I spent time with friends, old and newer 

So excited for all the new things that I'm going to learn this year xx

Bright and shiny and new

I do love January...the promise of a new, perfect year.

I ordered my Frankie diary from Angie last year and now can finally use it!

I've been taking a lot of time lately to work out what I like doing, what will make me a happier person who does more and naps less. With that in mind here are my resolutions for 2012...

In a year I will be able to:

- Run 20 minutes on the treadmill and not want to shoot myself

- Pick an entire salad out of my veggie garden (I'm talking Serious Salad here, none of that iceberg lettuce and sliced tomato crap...more on this later)

- Say 2012 was a really great year

I want to:

- Think less and create more (I overthink everythink and do nothing)

- Get my website up and running

- Be more attentive to my blog...poor malnourished thing

- Get my Honours degree

- Be a better friend (They generally deserve it)

Good luck to all of us :) I have a good feeling about this.
